Here are some tests to see if BT is connected.... first, make sure your connection settings are: 115200, 8, 1 and make sure the BT connection has been established (pairing, etc).
next, send single characters over your serial terminal to the board:
a - query to check if there's a 10MF1 connected. Response should be 'e' b - get some basic info from the 10MF1
